A research group from the University of Nantes joined Active Aging 2.0

The Movement, Interactions, Performance lab (recognized by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research) gathers researchers and PhD students from the University of Nantes (Faculty of Sport Sciences) and the University of Maine (Department of Sport Sciences). It develops a multidisciplinary (physiology, biomechanics and pschychology) research program. This program is composed by three research streams; each of them focusing on human movement at a specific level (muscle-tendon unit, individual and group of individuals). The overall aim of this program is to optimize human movement and to address scientific and societal issues in sport performance, health (specifically for aging) and educational fields. This research is granted by the Region des Pays de la Loire, France.
